About me
I’m Surabhi, a developer, former food entrepreneur, swimmer, and lifelong maker of things.
I started my career in software at Oracle, later built a small food business of my own, and eventually found my way into independent web and app development.
Today, I work as a consultant with Icarus and build digital products for businesses, founders and ideas that need thoughtful problem-solving.
I enjoy work that brings together logic, design and a little bit of stubborn persistence.
Outside code, I’m usually swimming, singing, gardening, sewing something for my daughter, or learning an entirely new skill for no sensible reason.
I now live in rainy Sringeri, where life is quieter, greener and very different from the cities I grew up and worked in.
I’ve always liked creating things from scratch—whether it is software, a business, a garden, or a badly behaved piece of fabric that eventually becomes a skirt.
Mostly, I’m curious, independent-minded, and happiest when I’m building something that feels useful and entirely my own.
